Important

Football Foundation Funding

  • Funded by the Premier League, FA and Government (via Sport England)
  • Large and small grants available covering everything from goalposts to 3G pitches
  • More than 60,000 grants worth over £800m provided to clubs and organisations since 2000

Premier League Stadium Fund

  • Funded by the Premier League, the PLSF awards grants to clubs in the EFL, National League System (Step 1-6) and Women's Pyramid (Tier 1-4)
  • Grants are designed to help clubs become more financially sustainable, satisfy their ground-grading requirements and create a better matchday experience for their players, officials and supporters

Premier League Defibrillator Fund

  • Funded by the Premier League
  • Free Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and/or External Storage Cabinets available for grassroots, National League System (Step 5-6) and Women's Pyramid (Tier 3-4) clubs
  • More than 2,000 facilities set to benefit

Closed grants

Matchday Support Fund

The Matchday Support Fund was launched in September 2020, offering a range of Premier League funded grants to eligible National League System, FA Women's Pyramid and Welsh Premier League clubs to prepare for the safe return of football and supporters to their stadia.

Delivered by the Football Foundation and funded by The FA, Grow the Game provides clubs with funding for the creation of new teams. The scheme is currently closed.

The Club Preparation Fund was launched in June 2020 to help clubs across England get their buildings ready for the return of football. The fund was available for a limited time only and is now closed.
