ACCESSIBILITY

Football Foundation's commitment to website accessibility

We’re committed to making our website as accessible as possible so everyone can use it. Our goal for the website is that all pages should meet the Priority 2 (Level AA) checkpoints of the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

This website has been tested on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

Adapting your experience to your needs

Our website is equipped with Recite Me language and accessibility tools to make it even more accessible and inclusive for as many people as possible.

You can now access a customisable toolbar to read and understand content in a way that suits your needs. The features include:

  • Screen reader
  • Multiple reading aids
  • Styling options
  • Live translation boasts 100 languages, 65 of which are text-to-speech.

Check out our handy guide to make our website more accessible to you.

Known problems with our site’s accessibility

A limited number of pages, such as those displaying maps, do rely on JavaScript and will not be accessible to users of certain assistive technologies or users who have turned off JavaScript in their browsers.

Visually impaired users may have trouble reading PDF files with screen reader software. To overcome this you can go to the Access Adobe website and use their online conversion tools for Adobe PDF Documents.
