All the grants we've provided so far have made an impact. Whether to an individual or an entire community. This year, more than ever, the funding that we've provided has been crucial in supporting grassroots clubs to come through the pandemic. Without it, many clubs simply wouldn't have been able to survive.

Local Football Facility Plans

For the first time ever we have a detailed roadmap to give this country the grassroots infrastructure it deserves. Local Plans are detailed reports that map out the football facilities needed across every local authority area in England. Grass Pitch Improvement Strategy

Even with the wider availability of 3G pitches did you know that the majority of grassroots football is still played on traditional grass pitches? That's why improving these remain a priority for us. Working alongside The FA we've developed the Grass Pitch Improvement Strategy which aims to deliver 20,000 good quality grass pitches by 2030.
