Before you apply, check this grant is available for your club
You can apply for the Lionesses HERe to Play Fund to facilitate regular, organised, community or grassroots football. This does not include ad-hoc or unsupervised play. You may be asked to evidence this as part of your application.
You can apply now if you're:
- A not-for-profit football club or voluntary group including:
- Grassroots clubs
- Football clubs within the Men’s National League System (where the funded activity will create grassroots teams/community programmes)
- Football clubs within the Women’s Football Pyramid (where the funded activity will create grassroots teams/community programmes)
- A County FA
- A Local Authority
- A Professional Club Community Organisation
- An educational establishment providing facilities for the community
- A registered charity
- A not-for-profit company
- A community interest company (CIC) or other social enterprise
- A company limited by guarantee
*If you’re a Football Club applying for a Football Foundation grant, you must be the Chair, Secretary or Treasurer of that Club to submit an application and co-sign the required forms. We’ll verify that you hold one of these roles, when you set up an account with us.
You can't apply if you're:
- An individual or sole trader
- A national governing body
- A commercial/for-profit entity
- A club within the Premier League, Football League, Women’s Super League 1 and 2 or the Welsh Premier League
- Educational establishments providing facilities solely for their students
