HOW TO APPLY
To manage high demand and ensure all clubs/organisations get the funding they need, we ask that applicants make no more than one application per organisation otherwise agreed with the Foundation. We encourage you to carefully review the eligibility criteria and prepare all necessary information before beginning your submission.
Once your application is received, it cannot be amended or resubmitted, so make sure it reflects your project’s goals and impact clearly and completely.
Organisations can apply for a combination of up to five opportunities. The minimum grant you can apply for is £500 and maximum is £7,500.
Create a Football Foundation account, or log back in if you already have one. Make sure your account has:
- A verified organisation
- Two verified contacts
- A verified site where the items will be used

You’ll only be able to access the Lionesses HERe to Play Fund (HERe for Teams) application form using this link. - Complete the application form - if you're a club, you need to have completed, signed up for or be on the waiting list for The FA's Equal Game workshop, or Journey to Inclusion workshop.
- Once you’ve submitted your application, we’ll send you a confirmation email. Your application will then be assessed by our Grant Management Team. We’ll aim to get back to you within ten working days with a link to download your decision letter and Terms and Conditions on your Football Foundation account.
- If your application is successful, we’ll provide you with the funds.
