Premier League Stadium Fund announces new Chair and members to its Stadia Improvement Panel
The Premier League Stadium Fund has appointed four new members to its Stadia Improvement Panel, including the recruitment of a new Chair.
Martyn Henderson OBE will take up the role of Independent Chair to lead the Stadia Improvement Panel (SIP) from January 2023, and act collectively with the other Panel Members, to ensure that all funding applications to the Premier League Stadium Fund are scrutinised independently before any funding is distributed to clubs that play in the National League System and Women’s Football Pyramid.
Martyn succeeds David Rose, who had chaired the Panel for the last 6 years. David stepped down in November having reached the end of his tenure.
The Panel was created to ensure that any applications for funding have been assessed in accordance with all approved processes and criteria that have been agreed by the Board of Directors, as well as good practice and any legal and statutory requirements.
Richard Allen and David Wilkinson have joined as Independent members, along with Sue Hough MBE as The FA’s Women’s Football Pyramid representative.
