Community Shield 2025: How the Football Foundation has supported this year's finalists

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Football Foundation by the Premier League, The FA and Government. Thanks to the ongoing support of these funding partners, we've invested over £1 billion into delivering the grassroots sports facilities that communities up and down the country need and deserve. 

Ahead of this year's Community Shield, we spoke to the heads of Liverpool FC and Crystal Palace FC Community Foundations to hear about how this investment has supported the 2025 finalists.
