Prize Promotion Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promotor is The Football Foundation (a charitable company limited by guarantee with registered company number 3876305 and charity number 1079309) of Wembley Stadium, Wembley, London HA9 0WS (the “Promotor”).
2. Prize Promotion
The title of the competition is ‘Win a player mascot experience at England vs Serbia’ (the “Prize Promotion”).
3. How to enter
3.1 The Prize Promotion will run from 12:00 GMT on 17 October 2025 (the “Opening Date”) to 17:00 GMT on 24 October 2025 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be processed.
3.2 To enter the Prize Promotion, send a completed entry form, which can be found at the following url: [https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=ca7aY3xSUkyKNEp0lh7HDt9bVQ4ZH29JoBBUmKEAXiVUNkJKV0dLWkFJTlhOQklDQUZSUVpGOFhEUS4u]. There is no purchase necessary and there is no charge to submit an entry.
3.3 Entry into the Prize Promotion is dependent on your acceptance of these terms and conditions and by entering the Prize Promotion you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3.4 The Promotor does not accept:
3.4.1 responsibility for Prize Promotion entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
3.4.2 proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Promotion.
4. Judging entries
4.1 The Prize Promotion entries will be judged by a panel of three judges (of which, one will be independent from the Promotor) based on what they consider to be the best and most compelling answer as to why you should win the Prize. The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final.
4.2 The Promotor will send the full names of the judges to anyone who, within one month after the Closing Date, contacts the Promotor using the form available here: https://footballfoundation.org.uk/contact-us.
5. Eligibility
5.1 The Prize Promotion is only open to those who satisfy all of the following criteria at the Closing Date:
5.1.1 at least 18 years old;
5.1.2 are resident in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland);
5.1.3 are applying on behalf of a child who is aged between 6 and 10 years old of which the applicant is the parent or legal guardian;
5.1.4 play, coach or work (whether on an employment, consultancy or voluntary basis) at a site which is funded (in whole or in part) by the Promotor; and
5.1.5 not Connected (as defined in clause 5.2) to the Promotor.
5.2 The following individuals are “Connected” for the purposes of clause 5.1.5:
5.2.1 employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
5.2.2 employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Prize Promotion or its administration; or
5.2.3 members of the immediate families or households of clauses 5.2.1 and 5.2.2 above.
5.3 There is a limit of one entry per person. If you submit more than one entry, your first entry will be eligible for consideration and all other entries will be void.
5.4 Entries must be made be made by the entrant and must not be made through agents or third parties.
5.5 In entering the Prize Promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize (or Runners-up Prize). The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of an entrant.
5.6 The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify any entry which it considers does not comply with these terms and conditions or any entrant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Prize Promotion, including providing false or misleading information.
5.7 The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, incomplete, or otherwise not received or cannot be entered for technical or any other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt. Incomplete or illegible entries or those entries not submitted in accordance with the entry instructions and these terms and conditions are invalid.
6. Prizes
6.1 The prize is to receive an England player mascot (6 - 10 year olds) experience package (the “Mascot Prize”) which consists of:
6.1.1 four complimentary tickets to the England v Serbia men’s international football association match at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 13 November 2025 (the “Game”). Please note that one ticket is for use by the player mascot and the remaining three can be used for family and friends;
6.1.2 one England kit for the player mascot; and
6.1.3 the opportunity to watch the players arrive, line-up in the tunnel and walk out onto the pitch with the players ahead of kick-off at the Game.
There are two Mascot Prizes available to be won.
6.2 The runner up prize is a pair of tickets to attend the Game (the “Runner-up Prize”). There are 50 Runner-up Prizes available to be won.
6.3 There is no cash alternative for either the Mascot Prize or Runner-up Prize (together, the “Prize”).
6.4 If you win a Prize, you must attend the Game with any children on whose behalf the entry to the Prize Promotion has been made. Any other children in attendance at the Game must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. For the avoidance of doubt, no additional tickets to the Game will be provided to the parent or legal guardian except as set out in clauses 6.1 and 6.2.
6.5 If you win a Prize, you agree to comply with all conditions of entry applicable at Wembley Stadium, and shall ensure that any guest permitted to attend with you, as described in the Prize, also complies with the conditions. Any individual who is rude, abusive, or deemed otherwise unsuitable by the Promoter may be excluded from the Prize Promotion and/or required to leave the stadium (and in such cases, the individual expelled shall not be entitled to compensation of any kind).
6.6 The Prize is supplied by the Football Association. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
6.7 The Prize allocated by the judges is non-negotiable and non-transferable. Winners are strictly prohibited from selling their Prizes to any other person.
6.8 Travel and accommodation are not included in any of the Prizes unless explicitly stated and the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with any Prize which are not specifically included in that Prize (including, without limitation, meals, personal expenses, insurance and travel expenses in connection with the Prize).
7. Winners
7.1 The decision of the judges under clause 4.1 is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
7.2 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who requests that information using the form available at https://footballfoundation.org.uk/contact-us within 10 days of the Closing Date
7.3 ate (the “Announcement Date”).
7.4 If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter using the form available here: https://footballfoundation.org.uk/contact-us. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7.5 If you win, the Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact you as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the Prize Promotion entry.
7.6 If you win, you must respond and confirm acceptance by email at communications@footballfoundation.org.uk within three days of the Promotor contacting you under clause 7.4. If you do not confirm acceptance of the Prize within that period, if you reject the Prize or if the Promotor considers that you did not meet the eligibility criteria in clause 5.1 at the Closing Date, another winner may be selected. The Prize may not be accepted by a third party on your behalf.
7.7 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize.
8. Limitation of liability
8.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8.2 Without prejudice to clause 8.1, in no event shall the Promoter’s total liability to you for all damages, losses, or causes of action exceed the value of the Prize.
8.3 Without prejudice to clauses 8.1 and 8.2, this Prize Promotion and any Prize are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
9. Ownership of Prize Promotion entries and intellectual property rights
9.1 All Prize Promotion entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.
9.2 By submitting your Prize Promotion entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
9.2.1 assign absolutely to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights held in the Prize Promotion entry with full title guarantee; and
9.2.2 waive absolutely all moral rights, in and to your Prize Promotion entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
9.3 You agree that the Promoter may, in their sole discretion, make your entry available on its website footballfoundation.org.uk and in any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Prize Promotion. You grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence in perpetuity, for the full period of the intellectual property rights in the Prize Promotion entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the intellectual property rights in the Prize Promotion entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
10. Data protection
The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in its privacy statement (footballfoundation.org.uk/privacy-statement).
11. General
11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Prize Promotion.
11.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3 If any of these terms and conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining terms and conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
11.4 These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
