£35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus benefits, depending on relevant skills and experience plus generous benefits Location: Hybrid working split between the Foundation’s office in London and home.

We’re the Football Foundation – the Premier League, The FA and Government's charity that helps communities improve their local football facilities through football grants. This means better games and more players - helping transform communities where demand is greatest, and impact will be strongest.

To help us with this important mission, we’re looking for a Junior Dynamics 365 Developer to join the technology development team.  This is an exciting time to be joining the Football Foundation and this is a great opportunity to use your experience of tech development to make a real difference through community sports.

About the Football Foundation

Over the last 22 years, the Foundation has awarded more than 23,000 grants to deliver outstanding grassroots facilities across England worth more than £877 million. This year, the Foundation will be investing more money than ever into facilities across England and is committed to improving the experience of playing football for everyone.

The Foundation’s goal is to unlock the power of pitches ensuring everyone has a great place to play regardless of gender, race, disability or place.

The role

The Football Foundation is developing a transformational change to how it delivers funding to successful grant applicants across every product and programme it provides. Underpinning this work is our Grant Management System (GMS) which is built on a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Model-Driven App.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Dynamics 365 Developer to join our team. As a junior developer, you will work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to customise, configure, and enhance our GMS system to support the Foundation’s strategic initiatives.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and supporting our GMS system while also strengthening and broadening your own knowledge and expertise in the D365 and Power Platform technology stack.

What are we looking for?

You don’t need to follow football to apply, but it is expected that you appreciate the power of sport to change lives and have a genuine interest in using your skills and experience to help the Foundation achieve our charitable and strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, with a specific focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. You’ll have a working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement out-of-the-box functionality and limits, and a basic understanding of the broader Microsoft stack as well as some knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

You’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. You’ll be well organised and proactive but you’ll be flexible in your approach and open to new ways of doing things and new technologies.

Most of all we want someone who reflects who we are as an organisation. We refer to our values as our four corners:

  • Fair Players – open and inclusive in our approach
  • Star Performers – trusted to deliver
  • United Team Player – collaborative and easy to work with
  • Passionate Supporters – flexible and willing

If you share these values and have the necessary skills and experience for the role, then we look forward to hearing from you.
