Together for Football
We’re the Football Foundation - the Premier League, the FA and Government’s charity. We champion and support fair access to quality football facilities for everyone, regardless of gender, race, disability or place.
The Foundation receives money from the Premier League, The FA and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, through Sport England. This is matched with partnership funding and awarded as grants to create outstanding grassroots facilities that enable better games and attract more players, helping to transform communities. Over the last 20 years, we’ve been planting the seeds to grow grassroots football, and we have worked closely with passionate people in communities up and down the country to deliver over 17,000 sports projects worth over £1.68 billion.
Over the last 20 years we’ve been planting the seeds to grow grassroots football, and we have worked closely with passionate people in communities up and down the country to deliver over 17,000 sports projects worth over £1.68 billion.
We’ve got big plans to revolutionise England’s grassroots facilities. With the recent announcement of an additional £205m government funding over the next three years as part of the Prime Minister’s ten-year manifesto commitment to invest in grassroots football, we’re now planning to scale up our operations and need a Recruitment Coordinator to help us bring on board the people that will make this happen.
As Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll work with managers and other members of the HR team to coordinate the Foundation’s recruitment campaigns, including advising on timescales, where and when to advertise and advert wording optimisation, to maximise the effectiveness of our campaigns. You will also support the selection process, including drafting interview questions and assessments, shortlisting and interviewing candidates, and will also manage the onboarding process for new starters.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for candidates with experience of managing the full recruitment process and with a good understanding of recruitment best practice; including advert optimisation, timescales and most appropriate job boards. Candidates should also have experience of recruitment selection, including shortlisting, interviewing and other selection assessments. Ideally, you’ll also have experience of working with Applicant Tracking Systems and LinkedIn or similar platforms to recruit candidates, although this isn’t essential.
We’d like candidates to have a good understanding of equality and diversity and how this can be applied to recruitment and selection processes, along with some experience of managing onboarding processes for new starters.
You’ll be a real people person, friendly helpful and supportive, and taking pride in delivering excellent customer service with a ‘can do’ attitude’.
What can we offer you?
You will start on 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (prorated to the duration of your contract and your FTE). We also offer a generous pension scheme (8% employer contribution), free health care provision, a monthly gym subsidy, interest-free season ticket loan, death in service benefit and access to selected match tickets
We are committed to helping our team members maintain a healthy work-life balance, so offer flexible working around core hours to help achieve that.
If you’re a recruitment professional, looking for a new challenge and a chance to work for a sports organisation that makes a difference, we would welcome your application. Remember, you don’t have to love football, just be a great recruiter.
