Ambassadors

Our Ambassadors are influential supporters of the Foundation, who share our passion for the grassroots game. They are actively involved in projects and help us by promoting and raising awareness for the work we do right around the country.

Peter Beardsley

Peter Beardsley MBE

Peter played for Liverpool, Everton and Newcastle United, and in England’s famous World Cup semi-final against West Germany in 1990. He is now football development manager at Newcastle United.

Georgie Bingham

Georgie Bingham is a sports broadcaster and journalist. She is presenter of the Weekend Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT and a contributor to sport on ITV Daybreak and Premier League Productions.

Dion Dublin

Dion Dublin

Dion played for Manchester United, Aston Villa, Coventry and England. Dion is also an accomplished percussionist and invented percussion instrument called The Dube.

Graeme Le Saux

Former left back for Chelsea, Blackburn and Southampton. Graeme was also capped 36 times for England and made a total of 403 appearances across his playing career.

Gary Neville

Gary Neville is England’s most capped right-back and also appeared 400 times for Manchester United during a trophy laden career. Now a highly respected Sky Sports pundit.

John Scales

John Scales

Former Premier League and England defender from 1984 to 2001. John made a total of 412 appearances in his career, won The FA Cup with Wimbledon, the League Cup with Liverpool, and was capped three times for England.

In a career that has included presenting GMTV and Sky Sports’ Goals On Sunday, West Ham fan Ben has also completed 14 marathons, climbed Kilimanjaro with Gary Barlow and Cheryl Cole and played for England at Soccer Aid.

Gareth Southgate

Former player for Aston Villa, Middlesborough and Crystal Palace and is now manager of the England Under-21 team. Across his career, Gareth made 57 appearances for England and over 500 league appearances.

Graham Taylor OBE

Former Aston Villa, Watford and England manager, Graham was a respected football commentator and pundit on BBC Radio 5 Live and other news outlets. He was also honorary life-president at Watford.

Dan Walker

Dan is the presenter of BBC One’s Football Focus and also has his own show on BBC Radio 5 Live. You've probably also seen him on MOTD when Gary has the weekend off.

Faye White MBE

Former Arsenal Ladies and England captain, Faye has also worked as a football commentator for the BBC, Sky Sports, Eurosport and ESPN and now works for Arsenal as a development officer for ladies' football.

Lawrie McMenemy MBE

Lawrie McMenemy MBE

Former manager of Sunderland and Southampton, who won The FA Cup with the Saints in 1976. Lawrie was also appointed as a coach for the England national team under Graham Taylor in 1990.

Duncan Watmore

Duncan currently plays for Sunderland AFC and the England Under-21 side. 2015 saw him graduate with a first-class honours degree in economics and business management from Newcastle University!
